PGA has a new face for MVP! Tayion Pugh has shown great work ethic and has been constantly setting the pace in the office. We really enjoy his positive presence not only in the office, but also on the road. Tayion has constantly volunteered to step up to run business trips and help our new people out. His selflessness is not going unnoticed by peers! Keep it up Tayion!

Richard has done it again! For the second consecutive week Richard has been voted as PGA's MVP! Richard has shown great leadership in and out of the office. President Carl Uhl boasts "Richard has really turned the corner the past month or so, he always has great ideas and it's a real pleasure to work with him on a daily basis."

Adrian Martinez has been selected as this week's MVP based his recent performance. Adrian is  new comer to our employee spotlight! He consistently shows Pacific Group that his student mentality and work ethic shines out over everyone. Carl boasted "I love having people like Adrian in the company. When things get tough and he struggles, Adrian is the type of person that works harder to get things done. He's always seeking advice to grow as a professional."

BIG 10 SPOTLIGHT!

Nathan Hayes was voted as Pacific Group's MVP this week. Hailing from BIG 10 country, Nathan has brought a ton of energy to the office as March Madness is in full force. An avid University of Wisconsin Badger fan, Nathan did not let his team's failures in the tournament effect his own performance. Our company is running a 4 week long March Madness contest where individuals are matched up against one another to compete in various sales and team challenges. Nathan of course picked his home-town Badgers, and has not disappointed. With a victory yesterday he has clinched his spot in the PGA March Madness Final Showdown against last week's MVP, Maddie (aka San Diego State). "I'm pumped to be in the finals. I was the number one seed coming into the tournament, so I'm looking to take Maddie down and win some Tickets!" Nathan said after winning his final 4 match up vs Eddie. The winner of the tournament will get tickets to attend an Angels, Dodgers, Padres or Anaheim Ducks game on the company.

Good luck to both Maddie and Nate as they duel it out this week. And CONGRATS to Nate for being MVP last week!

Pacific Group Associates SD Hosts Casino Night To Raise Money For Operation Smile

Pacific Group Associates SD gathered members of the company and family and friends to participate in a charity event to raise money for Operation Smile.  The newly formed company has partnered with the organization in an attempt to help local businesses raise money for an entire mission for the charity.

Pacific Group Associates SD is a sales and marketing firm located in San Diego.  The company, which opened its doors in late spring of this year, is hired by national corporations to acquire and retain business accounts.  The company specializes in bridging the gap between the large national service providers and the business owners who use the services.  

Operation Smile is a non-profit organization founded in 1982.  The organization is an international charity providing surgeries to children born with cleft lips.   Since inception, Operation Smile has worked with medical volunteers to provide more than 2 million patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.  Operation Smile is known as one of the most prominent children’s charities in the world and currently has a presence in over 60 countries.

Over the past couple of years, Pacific Group Associates’ clients have taken interest in raising money for the charity in an attempt to raise $150,000 for the cause, an amount that would be able to fund an entire mission to a third world country in need of the services.  When Pacific Group Associates SD opened its doors, they decided to help out with the mission.  The casino night is the second event Pacific Group has participated in.  They also joined local businesses in a charity basketball tournament for Operation Smile.  

“I knew when I started the company that I wanted to make sure we gave back to the community. We have big goals to accomplish and one of those is to make an impact beyond the one we make with our customer, clients and employees.  I am excited to be surrounded by a team of people that feel the same way,” explained Carl Uhl, President of Pacific Group Associates SD.

Pacific Group Associates SD has doubled in size since inception and plans to continue volunteering as they grow.  The company plans to have multiple locations by the end of the year and complete its goal of raising over for Operation Smile, as well as volunteering for at least one other charity.  Pacific Group Associates SD has set up a Smile Page on the Operation Smile website so people can donate or  simply follow their progress.

Pacific Group Associates SD Is Traveling

Pacific Group Associates SD is planning a trip to Puerto Rico.  We believe the executives here at the company are hard working individuals who deserve recognition for their efforts.  We have set up goals to reward the outstanding performers with a 4 day trip to Puerto Rico for rest and relaxation.  Pacific Group Associates SD will be making this an annual trip to various locations.

We Launched Our New Website To Make It Easier For People To Find Out Information About The Company

The “About Us” tab gives information about the team as well as bios for the President of the company, Carl Uhl, and the newly hired Director of Human Resources.  The Frequently Asked Questions compiles a long list of answers to the most anticipated questions asked by clients, consumers as well as job seekers. The “Press” tab includes a continually updated list of press releases and articles about Pacific Group Associates. 

Pacific Group Associates SD, Inc. launches its new website to help clients and businesses keep up with the company as it grows.  The company opened its doors in late May of 2011 in San Diego, California, With the signing of its first client, the company launched a new, user friendly website.

“As a new company, we knew we wanted to make information easily accessible. With technology being such an important part of how we get information to our clients, we understand how important it is to make things user friendly.  Also, we are growing so fast and we know how important it is to keep information current as we change,” explains Carl, President of Pacific Group Associates SD.

Pacific Group Associates SD plans on having a strong influence in the community and has a section on the website for the public to keep up with any volunteer activity and charities they are involved in.  Although Pacific Group Associates SD has obligations to remove client names and logos from publications for advertising purposes, the public can find out more about clients and services on the third tab of the website.

There is also a “Leadership” tab that includes links to articles by management experts and lessons on leadership and personal development.

“When I started the company, I knew a large portion of what we were going to accomplish would have to do with the caliber of our leadership. I thought it was important to have a section devoted to leadership and coaching so that my team could access resources that would help them grow as we grow,” Uhl goes on to explain.

Pacific Group Associates SD, Inc. Is Now Open For Business

Pacific Group Associates SD, Inc. announces it is officially open for business. Pacific Group Associates SD, Inc., a San Diego based sales consulting and marketing firm, celebrated its first day in business on May 31^st, 2011. 

The newly formed corporation specializes in client acquisition and retention.  The company, currently based out of the Mission Valley region of San Diego, was established to act as the middle man that bridges the gap between large corporate services and the business owners who use the service.  Instead of creating an internal client acquisition team, corporations are now able to hire Pacific Group Associates SD to handle the work load.

Pacific Group Associates SD, Inc. was established by Carl Uhl, graduate of University of California Riverside and former outfielder with the Philadelphia Phillies Organization.  Once leaving baseball and returning to California, Uhl began working as an Account Consultant for a sales firm in Riverside.  He was quickly promoted within the company and established a track record of success with his clients.

In April 2011, Uhl was offered a contract of his own and was able to establish Pacific Group Associates SD.  The current client is one of the oldest and largest business supply company in the country. Uhl initially hired eight associates to begin working with the client and since has doubled in size to keep up with the work load.

“I am excited about the team we have established.  The work load is growing fast and even though we have already had to hire another eight people, we will not be able to stop there.  We will have to grow even more within the next months,” explains Uhl, President of Pacific Group Associates SD, Inc. “We know we have the ability to work with new clients and are already talking about expansion.”

Uhl expects the company to take on two new clients within the next 16 months and plans to expand to at least four new locations in the next 3 years. 

A Great First Week In Business

We wrapped our first week in business and are excited about what we have already accomplished.  We have doubled in size already and are expecting to take on enough work in the coming months to be able to double in size again. We are already talking about expansion. 

We offer a unique service that allows us to grow at an exponential rate.  The clients we are contracting with offer services that all businesses need.  Therefore, we are able to market their services to a large pool of clients.  Even when a business is hit by the economy, they are still in need of the services our clients have us representing for them.

As we grow, more responsibilities are being created and it is exciting to see the team step up and take on these promotions.  We are already excited to continue growing well into the next year.
